Golf Buddies
I play in a Golf League at Brentwood Country Club where we live. We play each Wednesday from March until October. We play in scrambles, most par's, mystery holes, we host other clubs. We have a lot of fun. Since we only play 9 holes we are considered the more social group. The serious ladies play 18 holes. Several of us are considering moving up and playing 9 and 18 holes next year. Since I have only been playing for 3 years- last season I was voted "Most Improved". This year I held a position on the Board. Of all things they asked me to take all of the pictures and make a scrapbook. SHOCKING RIGHT!!!!! This next year I will be the VP. I have grown to love each one of the Lady's that I play with and each one of them are at a different stage in their own life. Some played in HIgh School and College but are now taking care of small children. Some have played for 30 plus years. All are Amazing and I learn something about the game each week when I play. This picture is of my favorite girls Nancy Perna, Amy Cottrell and Jeanie Frautschy. It was taken yesterday during our Breast Cancer Awareness Day.

Scrappin
We have had two busy weekends with Nic getting engaged to Amy ( pictures to follow) and Fall Break, and this week Wrestling Matches and Football games. I had the chance to pack up my Scrapbook stuff and spend the day with my friend Amy Cottrell. We started the day at 7 a.m. and ended at 11p.m. I had on my reading glasses all day and had the worst headache today. The affects of getting old. Mike suggested I train next time like a Marathon and start a couple of weeks out Scrapbooking for a few hours, and adding on each weekend. I thought that to be an excellent idea and will remind him of this. Thanks Amy for a great day.

Bluebird Cafe
Nashville is such a fun City to live in. On any given night you can hear up and coming artist playing and show-casing their songs. Last night we got the chance to go to the Bluebird Cafe and listen to our friends Jason Deere and Due West. All of these guys go to church with us. Jason has several church CD"s out including The Trek and the Nashville Tribute to Joseph. I highly recommend both. Due West has just signed to a new label and is so close to "making it big". So glad to call these guys friends.
When I was Relief Society President we had the Singles in our Ward. What a great surprise to see two former singles last night performing with them. Cardin McKinney and Michelle Bailey. Michelle is playing the fiddle in the picture. Cardin is writing and singing with Victoria Shaw another great songwriter in Nashville. Keep your eyes open for Mallary Hope. She performed last night and what a treat that was. She is another up and coming young artist that I am sure will be big one day. What a beautiful voice.
